Did you know your employer may help increase the impact of your charitable gift? Many companies offer employee giving programs and matching gift benefits that support eligible nonprofit organizations.
Trinity Development Alliance (TDA) uses Benevity to help donors explore employer-sponsored giving opportunities. Our Housing Preservation Fund campaign is hosted on Givebutter, where you can make a direct donation.
How Does Employer Matching Work?
Some employers match eligible charitable donations made by their employees. Depending on your employer’s program, your company may match all or part of your gift, subject to its policies and limits.
For example, if your employer offers a dollar-for-dollar match and approves your eligible $100 gift, your contribution could generate an additional $100 in employer support.
Step 1: Check Your Employer’s Giving Program
Visit your employer’s employee giving portal or Benevity account to find out whether matching gifts are available. Search for Trinity Development Alliance Inc. and review your employer’s eligibility requirements.
Step 2: Make Your Donation
Visit our Givebutter campaign to donate to the Housing Preservation Fund.
Step 3: Submit Your Matching Gift Request
Follow your employer’s instructions. Depending on the program, you may need to submit a matching request through Benevity or your employer’s giving portal, provide proof of your donation, or make your donation directly through the employer’s platform.
Step 4: Complete Any Required Follow-Up
Your employer may require additional information or documentation before approving the match. Please complete any outstanding steps so your matching gift can be processed.
