To say there’s a lot going on in the world is an understatement.
What we see, hear, and feel is that people are struggling and hurting right now. Whether it’s keeping a roof over their heads, trying to afford food and basic necessities, finding work to be able to stay afloat, or coping with distress mentally, emotionally, and/or physically, people need help and support now more than ever.
Those who are grappling with heavy life challenges may be across the miles from us, in our own communities, and maybe even people we may know and love.
Coupled with all the news, negativity and noise, it just hurts the heart.
As we are in the midst of the holiday season, giving back and helping others is at the forefront. And that is wonderful! Actually, it’s more than wonderful: it’s invaluable. TDA community, thank you for all of your efforts and energy!
However, here’s an important reminder for us all: this holiday season, please carve out some time to take care of yourselves and give yourself the peace, love and care you give to others. Take a little time to rest, reflect, and restore, as 2026 is just around the corner, and the world needs all of us to be energized with hope.
And perhaps this holiday season, may there be, even for just a moment, collective peace on earth. And then may we launch 2026 rooted in love, purpose and possibility.
With that, we are sending our love to you all as we close out 2025. We look forward to having you join us on our mission and vision for 2026 and help ease the burdens of individuals, families and communities through affordable housing efforts and empowering people by providing integrated support services that foster stability, recovery, and independence.
