The $7 billion Solar for All (SFA) program under the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF) is a critical program offering affordable housing owners the opportunity to reduce energy costs to residents, create jobs, enhance communities, and educate underserved communities on the benefits of renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices.

The SFA program will enable nearly 1 million households across the United States in low-income and underserved communities to benefit from distributed solar energy.

For the housing owners, the program comes with complex requirements and changing guidelines. Housing entities would benefit from an advisor who can help navigate these requirements, creating win-win solutions for all involved. This excellent short article in the Tax Credit Advisor provides the details on why this makes sense and creates positive outcomes.  Our community partner, Fleet Development, helps housing entities navigate the program and do just that.
