In the Fall of 2020, in addition to managing the challenges of the COVID-19 global pandemic, rural communities in the State of Oregon were devastated by wildfire.  More than 4,000 homes were completely destroyed statewide and rural communities took the brunt of the impact.

In the rural community of Talent, Oregon, the Anderson Vista Apartments is a 36 unit affordable housing property where many of tenants that lived there received rental assistance.  The key words are, “that lived there.”  The Anderson Vista was ravaged by fire in September and everyone who lived there lost everything.  Though the tenants in this apartment complex receive rental assistance and can transfer it to other rural development properties, there is a severe lack of rental housing available in the region and finding housing has been a challenge for many.  Additionally, many renters do not have renter’s insurance and lost everything they owned.  Though there are other many forms of assistance available, many households still have needs that are unmet.

On this #GivingTuesday, Trinity Development Alliance, Inc. (TDA) is raising money for the tenants of Anderson Vista.  When you make a gift to TDA on #GivingTuesday, 100% of your contribution goes to the tenants to address their needs during this stressful time.   Can we count on you to be more than a good neighbor this Giving Tuesday?  Please consider making a donation today.  Donate | Trinity Development Alliance Inc.
